Meet Dr. Earl Lewis, DBH, LPC — Founder of Motivate Your Mental LLC
I’m Dr. Earl Lewis, a Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping men take back control of their health, purpose, and mindset. Through Motivate Your Mental, I help men bridge the gap between mental and physical strength — developing the habits, clarity, and confidence needed to thrive in every area of life.
My work centers around a simple belief: when men understand themselves and lead with discipline, everything changes — their health, their relationships, and their legacy.
About Me
Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked with hospitals, outpatient programs, military families, clinics, and private practice — supporting individuals and families through life’s toughest transitions.
I hold licenses in New Jersey, Virginia, Florida, and Arizona, with advanced training in behavioral medicine, couples and family therapy, and men’s behavioral health.
My doctoral research focused on improving men’s health literacy and preventive health behaviors through culturally responsive, community-based coaching — work that inspired the creation of The Vital Man Project, a men’s health and vitality coaching program designed to help men strengthen their bodies, minds, and leadership.
My Approach
I combine clinical depth with practical action. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify patterns, rewrite limiting stories, and create tangible change.
In our work, I focus on helping you reframe your perspective, strengthen your mindset, and move toward solutions that align with your values and goals. I believe men grow through both reflection and action — and that change happens when we stop replaying the past and start building the next chapter with clarity and purpose.
In sessions, you’ll find honesty, structure, and accountability — balanced with empathy and respect. My goal is to help you connect your story, strategy, and strength so you can lead yourself and others more effectively.
Beyond the Office
Outside of sessions, I’m passionate about fitness, travel, and creative reflection. You’ll find me walking outdoors, strength training, or journaling on how faith, discipline, and mindset shape the modern man. I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
I see my work not just as therapy — but as legacy-building: helping men become strong, present, and purpose-driven leaders in their families, communities, and careers.
